CMD+C Connect

CMD+C Connect is a conceptual digital platform designed for the CMD+C: NMU Design Society organization that brings creativity, community, and opportunity together. The project focuses on helping students connect through events, resources, inspiration, and professional opportunities within an engaging and design driven experience.
Style Guide
Inspired by the CMYK printing process, the color palette features softened tones of cyan, magenta, yellow, black, gray, and white. The overlapping letterforms of the logo create secondary colors, referencing the layering and color mixing found in print processes. The typefaces HWT Konop and Helvetica were selected for their historical significance within the field. Together, these elements create a visual system rooted in the history and practice of graphic design.
Landing Page
The landing page highlights the platform’s focus on connection, creativity, and community. Bold messaging immediately communicates its purpose and invites students to explore, create, and connect through design. The layout was designed to make the platform’s goals clear at first glance while remaining engaging and welcoming.
Responsive Prototype
Created in Figma, the interactive prototype showcases the homepage’s responsive and user friendly design. Playful visual elements, intuitive navigation, and thoughtful organization balance creativity and functionality, creating an engaging experience tailored to a student centered design community.
